A book with a glass of wine on one of our terraces, a gastronome’s dinner on the premises or advise on events (concerts, castles, museums) or sports possibilities (horse-riding, canoeing, swimming), we are there to make your holiday an event which will last positively in your memory. It is easy to run in the surroundings but you may also do 100 laps in our 14x 5 meter salt-water swimming pool. During walks in the woods you’re likely to encounter deer and you can bring a beautiful field bouquet to your house where nice ceramic vases are present. Woodpeckers and singing birds will wake you up and the smell of fresh baguette, croissants and coffee will give you that touch of France, sitting on your own terrace to wake up (and check your e-mails). Wireless 24/7 internet access is available for those who wish keep in touch. Grab your pencils and a chair, find a place and make your aquarelles. Visit local markets and come home with “trouvailles” be it food, local beverages or antiques.
“La cuisine de Marianne” provides, if desired, your breakfast and or an excellent dinner. The Périgord is famous for its culinary traditions. Confit de canard, foie gras, cèpes, truffles, walnuts, the most delicious strawberries and the sweetest honey. Nearby are numerous restaurants for every mouth and for each prize. And Marianne is always there for a delicious, honest meal on your own or our terrace.
The gîtes have great acoustics and there is a piano available. In the farm (van Gogh) is also a grand piano which can be used at request.
